I had something different written, but Dad told me he didn't think I should post it because it was too personal...so I didn't. I deleted it and started over. I haven't been in the mood for blogging much lately, but I'm getting over it.
January can sometimes be a long month because it so cold it's hard to go outside. It sometimes helps me to have something to look forward too. This is the time of year when I start getting flower and gardening catalogs...which I can look at for hours. Don't worry Sweetie, I'm only buying seeds this year...and I'm not ordering any flowers, I may buy some annuals later this spring though. I can't wait to start planning my garden this year. I am also excite to get to plant in something other than hard clay. I can actually put a shovel into the ground with very little effort here. I can also feel the days getting longer already. We've even seen the Sun peeking through the clouds a little thins week. I love it when it reflects off the snow...it is so beautiful. I am glad we have snow to go along with the cold...so much better than just plain cold. Also, Aaron and I have decided that we want to take a vacation together sometime this year...without the kids. It's been kind of fun planning something just for us. I love my children and we will have plenty of fun with them this year too...but a little break is a good thing too.

Hooray for parent get-away plans! I told Matt, after our Hawaii trip last year, that I want to "get-away" once a year. Is that too much to ask? I don't think so.
Hello! Florida! We are currently driving home from our anniversary trip to Miami. It was so fun. Right now I'm covered in salty ick from jetskiing but I don't know when we've last had such a great time without the kids. The hotel was amazing, and we saw Celin Dion last night. I am now a convert to anniversary trips when we can swing it!!! Go for it! Where do you think you will go??
We've looked at several places...mostly in the Carribean and some cruises, but we haven't decided if we want to spend a lot or just stay closer to home and save a little $$$. Probably also depends on whether we decide to go in Aug. or Nov.
