We Love Maple Syrup!! Last weekend we went down to visit Grandma and Grandpa and we got to boil some sap down to syrup!! The kids had a blast. The sap collects in buckets, or through the lines into a central tank, which #1 got to ride the tractor with Grandpa to empty!!
This is the evaporater, where the water is boiled off.
The syrup is drained when it's ready and taken inside to be filtered and then botteled or canned!
