Look what I found today!

It hasn't snowed for almost a week now, and what we have is finally melting. Suprisingly, it's not as muddy as I expected. I suppose that is the difference between having mostly sandy soil instead of clay.

The weather has been so nice the last couple of days I have not been able to keep the kids indoors. Not a bad thing, but they can't be out unsupervised. They tend to get into too much trouble. This one is very into dressing herself lately. As you can see, the shirt is inside out, and the one underneath is backwords. She doesn't care, she is so pleased to be able to do it herself.

Notice the new haircut. My three-year old likes scissors way too much. I'm pretty sure she didn't do this all on her own. She did tell me she thought she looked funny when she looked in the mirror. I told her, "Yes, you do. But, it's hair and will grow back if you don't cut it anymore." I'm tempted to get rid of all the scissors in the house, it's just that they are so darn useful. So, for now they are just hidden.

Here's a good look at the back. I trimmed a little off the other side just so it wasn't the only longish part. And then we bought some headbands.

This is where we plan on putting the garden, I can't wait for the snow to be gone and we can get started!Just digging in the dirt!
