But then, a tiny scratch on your arm can be so upsetting. Even a band-aid from a stranger doesn't help when you can't move you arm because of it.
But we had cake the next day at Nana and Grandpa's house. Luckily by then everything was better! And chocolate cake with coconut frosting make her a girl that definitely takes after her mommy. Probably a good thing that's what she wanted too, since I have banned sprinkles from my home for a year after they all got dumped...on the couch.

I only got a few pictures of the bride and groom, and this was the best one. Sorry I can't do better, but Zac, I'd like to see some of yours.
Here is one very sick birthday boy. As he said to Dad, "This is the worst birthday ever." So, we didn't make it to the reception for more than a few minutes to say bye. And we didn't get to go to Chuck E Cheeses like we'd planned. Although his little sister thought that we should still go without him and dad could stay home with him until he felt better. At least he had a whole box of new Transformers to keep him busy on the car ride up to my in-laws. We didn't hear a word for over two hours.

We did have cake when everyone was feeling better. After all, have you really had a birthday until there is cake?
